Three Period Lesson
Use the Three Period Lesson to teach the names of everyday items in the language. Use figurines or pictures to teach the names of other things.
Songs
Teach the children songs in the language. Songs with actions are especially nice. Each time you do the song, teach the children the meaning of one or two words in the song.
Games
- Play "Simon Says"
- Play "Twister"
Audio Books
It can be nice to have audio book versions of books in the language along with the paper version of the book in which the child can follow along.
