first after teaching upto 10 let the child take one more item which is similar to those tens then in place of 0 let them put 1 . it becmes 11you ha== Presentation ==

if ones child understands it then go for twelve take two items in one set and 10 items another set. start counting second set ie 10 after counting 10 in place of zero the set set counting ie 2 let them put. It becomes 12. go on for 13, 14 , 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, when twenty comes same 10s set you take and tell them two tens.
