In this activity the child sorts pictures of animals (or figurines) by whether they are of vertebrates or invertebrates.

Presentation

  1. Take the material to a mat or table.
  2. Place the labels at the top of the workspace.
  3. Sort the pictures by whether they are of a vertebrate or an invertebrate.
