This book is similar to Teaching Montessori in the Home: The Pre-School Years by Elizabeth G. Hainstock and Teach Me to Do It Myself by Maja Pitamic in that it contains step-by-step instructions on how to teach Montessori activities for preschool aged children. However, this book goes into far more detail than the others and covers far more activities, it also is very thorough in its explanations of Montessori theory. It might be a little too heavy reading for the parent who is just starting to do Montessori activities with their child at home, but it would be great for the parent who is wanting to learn more in-depth information. It would also be a good source for someone entering a Montessori teacher training program.
